Blood letting and really awesome chairs

I had my liver panel blood tests this morning. I was sent to a different lab for whatever reason and WOW! Ok so it's hard to impress me with medical offices and labs, but just yesterday this place received brand new chairs for the waiting room. I'm talking big, fat, comfy, LEATHER chairs with super-duper padding. Out came my PDA camera. Check it out! My bony butt of a tail bone was a happy camper in this cush seat! (And how do you like my shirt? "My neurosurgeon flipped my lid")

So was DH!

Then came the bloodsuckers, and DH must have snapped this right at the precise moment of sucking or something based on the expression on my face.

But alas, it was over momentarily and I had to gush compliments all over them when they walked us out, because as soon as I saw the waiting room chairs again I was in love all over again!

Good-bye for now, oh comfy chairs. If only all offices could be like you!

  1. I never had a fear of needles until I started being a hard stick. Now I have a "stick as many times as you like, but no digging" policy. But really, Keesha, you are very brave.

  2. You're darn right--arterials burn! At best I've been a bit foggy but still remember every darn one of them.

  3. I love the chair commentary! Ah, the little pleasures in life!! You look great, BTW, with the fusion rods and all, your head/neck look very natural.

I LOVE the chairs at the cancer center where I get my pamidronate trx once a month! Big leather recliners! And they bring you warm blankies, and sometimes a nice lady comes by and gives a foot massage! next, a nice old lady pushes a cart by with water or tea/coffee and cracker and cheese. I mean, we get the spa treatment! I think it's so nice that they "try" to make it all a pleasant experience. I'm gonna miss 'em when I'm done in four months!

    hugs to ya, hon!
