Brain tumor walk

On the 13th a bunch of us are going to participate in a 5K in Tempe (outside of Phoenix) for the National Brain Tumor Foundation. It should be a ton of fun! There's my husband, myself, my friend and house-mate Jackie, my neighbor/church friend Kristina, CM friend Nicole, and my friend who is flying out from New York to participate, Jennie, who came out and stayed with me at the hotel in NY in July at my last TCI appointment.

There are activities afterward and I'm really glad we've got a good group going. I just started with the fund-raising. The vinyl decals for my scooters should be here in time: 2-tone silver designs http://www.customvinylgraphics.com/detail.aspx?ID=5276 (in charcoal).

DH's triathlon slideshow

A little slideshow of the triathlon in Phoenix this weekend. These are my kids, ages 5 and 6, my husband the peace officer/triathlete, and a picture of my pretty toes, courtesy of the young man who gave me a last-minute pedicure last week. I can't believe I let myself do that. I clenched the chair for ages! LOL! But it was a true delight! Hey you only live once.
