Taking things for granted

People who complain about me taking ONE day (dang, one whole day a year) to share resources in posting (again, all in ONE day) fashion need to realize something. This blog is meant to help those who want to know they are not alone, and those who need to learn more. They are my priority and are the reason I blog in the first place.

So, to my complainers (who are healthy, not surprisingly), skip what is not applicable to you and THANK GOD for it because you're sure as hell lucky.

To all the people who have contacted me to share their gratitude for the information, including letting me know they ordered something I posted about, I am very grateful to hear from you. I am thrilled to know that you have gained a bit of independence and/or safety--something so very important to all of us.

  1. Keesha,

Wonderful post. I think people forget that they need to respect the fact that every single person has their own priorities and their own lives. They have other things that come first. For you helping others find resources and awareness comes first, as it should!

I realize your blog is a wonderful source of information on how you are doing, but as you have said its first priority is to provide resources to others in need. Honestly, if someone wants to know how you are doing email is a great way to not only see how you are doing, but provide support, hugs, and even a simple "you are in my thoughts." No one knows or can assume what another person is going through or judge a person for their actions…heck, I came to your site while changes were being made and I though nothing of it. Your site, your prerogative!

I'm sorry you had to hear complaints and negativity. Hugs and lots of love always!

  2. Thank you Jennifer! I appreciate that!

  3. Thank you Jennifer! I appreciate that!

  4. I know you helped me with the rearview mirror and guess what? I drove on Saturday for the first time in over a year!! And that mirror was cool!

It's called "Peer Support" and that's what we each other get thru each day with ideas, advice, prayers and just listening. How could anyone ever complain? Go figger!

    love you, ZH
